Biography
She started to study music after she noticed a camera man hiding behind a tree to capture her street peddling song, outside of Fenway Park in Boston. Her sales spiel was then syndicated in broadcasts all over the country. She was a peanut and pretzel vendor outside the park for almost eight years.
First by studying Blues and Jazz at the John Payne Music Center of Brookline, Massachusetts. Singing lead in the 4 o'clock Blues Band. Then Larry Unger was her first guitar teacher.
At Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina she focused on Voice and Bass Guitar in a Music Minor.
At the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York she met and worked with Bobby McFerrin. She has enjoyed the Blues Jams at the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation in N.E. Washington, DC; The Folk Club of Reston Herndon; and the Charlie Pike's Friday night Bluegrass Jam in Providence, Rhode Island.
She sang lead in the Leather and Lace Duo of Winchester, Virginia and has been in too many Rock'nRoll Bands that didn't stick together.
Her passion is Teaching; Performance; and Writing. She currently lives on the family farm in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia where she is growing apples, nuts, and berries, Timber Management keeps her busy.
